Seven years ago, I learned firsthand what grief meant. I lost my beautiful daughter Katelyn at the tender age of 19, in a car accident. Katelyn was an angel on earth. I believe she left a heart print on the soul of whoever she met.
Her passion was her art, face painting and animation. Her dream was to be an animator and bring joy to all through her love of drawing.
She loved to make people happy through her passion for face painting for children. She spent countless hours volunteering in places throughout Westchester. She only asked for a smile in return. She worked with her adored little sister, who she fondly called “Precious.” Being with her little sister brought her greatest happiness.
She was face painting in Mt Kisco the evening before she passed. It was getting very late, but she wouldn’t leave the restaurant till the very last child was left with a light in their eyes and a smile on their face.
It was an honor to call her my daughter. I dedicated this business in memory of my beloved daughter Katelyn.
